 iger Nawa and Kiran Premnath for a unique workshop where the worlds of Tan
 go and Shibari meet in an intimate fusion of movement\, communication and 
 creativity. Tango and Shibari are both practices of connection. They invit
 e us to listen through the body\, communicate without words and explore th
 e relationship between leading\, following\, tension\, release and trust. 
 Together\, they become a physical conversation between rope\, movement\, m
 usic and two bodies sharing the same moment. WHAT WE WILL EXPLORE During t
 he workshop\, we will introduce accessible foundations from both practices
  and explore how they can interact. You will work with: Foundational Tango
  steps and movement Introductory Shibari techniques and rope handling Lead
 ing\, following and listening through the body Rhythm\, pacing\, tension a
 nd release Moving together while connected Communication\, consent and per
 sonal boundaries Combining dance and rope through playful improvisation Th
 e focus is not on perfect choreography or complicated patterns. It is on p
 resence\, connection and discovering what can emerge between two people th
 rough rope and movement. WHO CAN ATTEND The workshop is suitable for: Abso
 lute beginners in both Tango and Shibari Tango dancers curious about explo
 ring another dimension of connection Shibari practitioners interested in b
 ringing movement and rhythm into their rope Experienced dancers or rope pr
 actitioners who want to encounter their practice differently Anyone curiou
 s about the meeting point between dance\, rope\, intimacy and art You do n
 ot need previous experience in either practice. Everyone is welcome regard
 less of gender\, sexuality\, body\, identity or relationship style. Ropeja
 m Studio is proudly inclusive of LGBTQIA+\, FLINTA+\, queer\, trans\, non-
 binary and BiPOC communities. WORKSHOP FACILITATORS LOLA TIGER NAWA Founde
 r of Ropejam Studio\, Kinbaku–Shibari Sensei and creator of Tiger Nawa R
 yū. Lola’s teaching combines technical understanding with intuition\, c
 ommunication and embodied connection\, encouraging participants to underst
 and the principles behind rope rather than simply memorising patterns. KIR
 AN PREMNATH Professional Tango teacher and dancer. Kiran will introduce th
 e essential principles of Tango and guide participants through movement\, 
 connection\, leading and following. ROPES Ropes will be provided for the w
 orkshop\, so you do not need to purchase a set to participate. Premium 6mm
  Japanese Ogawa jute ropes will also be available to purchase at the studi
 o\, through the Ropejam website or as an add-on when booking. WHAT TO WEAR
  Wear something comfortable that allows you to move freely and experience 
 rope safely. Your clothing can be casual\, expressive\, vanilla or kinky. 
 All styles are welcome. We recommend avoiding sharp jewellery or accessori
 es that could catch against the rope or another person. REFRESHMENTS Compl
 imentary tea and coffee will be available throughout the workshop. You are
  welcome to bring your own snacks. CONSENT AND HOUSE CULTURE Ropejam Studi
