associated with pain. But seme is not just for the sake of pain. Tight\, r
estrictive ropes and strenuous or uncomfortable positions torment the body
. Suffering can be not only physical\, but also mental. The mental aspects
\, though often neglected\, are just as important as the physical ones. Ty
ing the mind rather than the body together with helplessness and hopelessn
ess or even frustration leaves no choice but to surrender that embodies th
e very essence of semenawa. Let’s explore these possibilities more deepl
 y. Creating a particular headspace brings with it strong emotions. Some of
them may be dark\, yet possess a unique and compelling beauty and strengt
 h. Embrace these emotions alongside our intentions and fetishes. Find out
who we are\, what appeals to us and where we want to grow. Get inspiration
. This workshop offers a journey through various shades of semenawa\, all
while honoring the spirit of kinbaku. We will navigate through nuanced fla
vours such as shame\, tough love\, stories we put into ropes and minds\, o
bjectification or exposure and humiliation. Even if some of these are not
your kinks\, we will provide alternative path to enjoy and learn from each
exercise. Pre-requisites Both riggers and models should have experience w
ith partial suspensions and have a solid foundation on the floor. You shou
ld master basic floor ties\, especially single and double column ties\, la
cing\, futomomo and any form of stable Gote (Takate Kote). Both riggers an
d models should ideally have experience with basic suspensions and have a
solid foundation on the floor. You should master basic floor ties\, especi
ally single and double column ties\, lacing\, futomomo and any form of sta
ble Gote (Takate Kote). Bring with you Participants will need to bring a m
inimum of 8-12 ropes. About the educators Peter Soptik and Sansei's approa
ch to ropes is about a deep connection between two people. They find this
connection particularly in traditional kinbaku and are passionate about th
e Kinbaku LuXuria style that they are both certified for up to level 1. Pe
ter has been studying this style with Riccardo Wildties and Red Sabbath si
nce 2013. Riccardo is a deshi of Naka Akira and his style is an interpreta
tion of Naka Ryu more suited to western riggers and models.Sansei and Pete
r started their journey together a few years later and now not only study
but also research their own interpretation of the style. Their tying and t
heir teaching includes classical patterns\, aesthetics and also deep surre
nder to the core\, dark emotions in semenawa and existing for each other.
Through kinbaku they pursue things they are passionate about. Among the di
fferent flavours they tie and teach are objectification and exposure\, fro
m shame to humiliation\, and some niche topics such as neck rope and arm b
inders. Peter has been studying Japanese bondage for a long time. He studi
ed with Kinoko Hajime\, Osada Steve\, Nawashi Kanna\, Arnoys Nicolas and N
aka Akira. They taught him the basics\, technique and also the movement\,
intimacy and simplicity of the ropes. Today his style is shaped by his stu
dies with Riccardo Wildties. Sansei has been doing ropes since 2017. Her a
pproach to tying is specific with a deep surrender to her rigger\, an almo
st altered state of being while tying\, exploring the often dark emotions
that ropes can bring and the beauty of them. Of particular importance to h
er is the naturalness of the experience and the effect of the rope on the
human soul and body. She is not only a model\, but also a rigger. She has
been studying with Peter Soptik since 2019 and the Kinbaku LuXuria style w
ith Riccardo Wildties and Red Sabbath since 2022. The experience of both r
oles allows her to better understand and pass on deeper insight. She is pa
ssionate about Japanese aesthetics and philosophy\, which is a great inspi
ration in her tying\nHosted by Studio Ma\nhttps://www.tickettailor.com/eve
