  attend is fine\, we do understand\, it happens! What is not great\, and w
 hat we are working hard to minimise\, is when the event is sold out and pe
 ople miss out on attending or on dates due to no-shows. This is a limited 
 capacity event and we always have a waiting list. Repeated no shows withou
 t notice will be blocked from future bookings. ---- Welcome! We're here to
  help anyone who likes to explore their kinks and wants to find a genuine 
 connection - whether it be for friendship\, a long lasting lifestyle dynam
 ic\, a partner to wreck havoc at play parties or someone lovely to just cu
 rl up on the sofa and enjoy films with. Or ... dare we suggest.... why not
  all of them? This is a super friendly and welcoming event of a nice and c
 omfortable size. We’ve been lucky enough to attract such lovely guests s
 o far :) This event is specifically for ladies who prefer - or think they 
 would prefer - their Gentlemen to take the lead\, and for Gentlemen who ar
 e interested in such ladies. We've sold out more often than not\, so we'd 
 suggest you don't wait if you're interested! ---- Format Gents will keep t
 he same seat throughout the evening and everyone will have around 5 minute
 s to get to know one another before moving onto their next date. We will l
 et you know when there is 30 seconds left on each date. If you’d like to
  offer the person your contact details please do it within this time and n
 ot when the bell rings! Otherwise it creates a delay for others around you
 . There will be two short breaks during the evening to refresh your drinks
  and rest your vocal chords. And after the event the space is yours to car
 ry on socialising until closing time if you so wish. There may be more peo
 ple to meet\, plus a chance to delve a little deeper into all the wonderfu
 l new connections you've started during your speed dates. The venue is a c
 osy private space near Victoria Station and if you're feeling peckish\, th
 e pub does excellent food too. ---- PLEASE NOTE! ---- Please arrive at 7pm
  to give everyone time to check in and grab a drink before the dating star
 ts at 7.30pm. If you arrive after we have started\, we will get you seated
  as soon as we can\, but we can't guarantee that you will have a chance to
  speak to all of the other attendees. For the comfort and ease of all\, we
  have one strict rule: you must never request anyone's contact details\, h
 owever indirectly. If you would like to stay in contact\, offer your detai
 ls to them. If you reach out to people you've not met because you've seen 
 them RSVP or interact with us online you're risking the full force of our 
 wrath (and we do have the wrath). We've not had this silliness to date and
  we would like to keep it that way. It's not classy\, it's not wanted and 
 it sure as sugarlumps doesn't work. Please make sure Eventbrite location/w
 aitlist emails don't go into your spam! When we send out waiting list invi
 tations you only have 24 hours to accept. We are always on the lookout for
  accessible venues\, but sadly\, this is not one. There's a flight of stai
 rs to get to the speed dating and no lift. If you would like to recommend 
 a venue\, please drop us line. ---- COVID safety note! For the moment\, fo
 r our face to face events we ask you to: - be vaccinated (or medically exe
 mpt) OR be tested negative on the day of the event\, AND - be symptom free
